Our U14 girls hit the road again today, this time a trip to Biggar to play the final round of fixtures in the West Challenge. We travelled with our biggest squad of the season taking 11 girls with us, one of whom had only turned up to training on Wednesday for the first time! We were once again joined by our friends from Annan Rugby for today.

First up a strong Stewartry team. This team have been in impressive form throughout these fixtures and today was no different. Playing some great rugby and putting us under pressure from the first whistle to the last, our girls kept going though and managed to get over the line to score some well worked trys.

Next up Dumfries. We've had some close games against Dumfries during these fixtures and today was no different, a great game with two well matched teams both playing good rugby.

Lastly Biggar, again we've had some good close games with Biggar and this one went down to the last play with Biggar snatching the win.

The girls development over these last few rounds of rugby has been brilliant to see, we've gained in confidence in all aspects of the game. We've played some very competitive games against very good teams and managed to pick up a couple of new players along the way.
